The Assassin's Cakes Wax Melts

SCENT NOTES: lemon + berries + vanilla cake + sugar + buttery pastry

Some of us- some assassins, included -simply love the finer things in life…particularly fine, sweet things in the form of bite-sized, delicious, lemon and vanilla cakes topped in sugary frosting and tarts of fresh berries atop a flakey, buttery pastry crust. We at the Shadow & Flame Apothecary understand that cake sometimes is a “need” not just a want and we are proud to stock this candle, inspired by the many favorite cakes of one of the most (in)famous ladies in Adarlan.
This is a tried and true bakery blend and this shopkeeper finds that the notes change depending on your proximity to the candle as it burns. The vanilla cake notes rule the blend and I feel as though they tend to really wander- at least personally this is what I smell first and from furthest out. Its lemony and flakey butter pastry notes are closer to its heart and I find the pastry crust element in particular will catch me by surprise while burning or melting this scent.

Hand poured with natural coconut soy wax and decorated with dried chrysanthemum petals, chamomile, and pearlescent mica.
BOX: 12 melts are packed inside a kraft box, topped with a wax seal, with wax paper interwoven between the layers to protect your melts!
SINGLE MELTS: 1 melt is tucked inside an individual glassine bag and sealed with a label
These soy wax melts can be used in any wax warmer/melter. Please note however that these are not suitable for use in electric or reed diffusers that release steam. All packaging is plastic free.
