ORDERS & SHIPPING Q&A
-
My current production/processing time is always posted in the announcement bar at the top of the site! Additionally, keep in mind that that is business days and therefore does not include weekends or holidays. Shipping will likely take slightly longer during the holidays and/or just after the launch of a new product.
Keep an eye out for a tracking email that will let you know when your order has shipped. Be sure to double check spam! They often end up in there. -
S&F is a team of just one! So, I'm making, labeling, packing, and shipping everything, largely by hand. This way every single product and package has a very personal touch, but also takes a while to create and ship ;)
-
We accept all major credit cards, klarna, afterpay, and apple pay!
-
Yes! We do! You should have multiple shipping options during checkout.
Please note that Parfumerie goods cannot be shipped internationally at this time. -
I wish I could! Unfortunately, anything that contains perfumers alcohol is heavily restricted in the postal system, as it's classified as "hazardous."
-
Nope! No worries! Sometimes the magic of tracking gets a little tangled up and takes a little while to update. Please allow 24-48 hours for tracking to update, especially if you selected ground shipping.
CANDLE & WAX RELATED Q&A
-
I use a coconut-soy blend made from soy, coconut, and a small amount of food-grade paraffin! This wax is clean burning, biodegradable and natural. It is vegan, cruelty-free, toxin-free and ethically sourced from here in the US.
If you have a coconut allergy: you should be fine to burn the candle, just be mindful not to get the wax on your hands. I would not recommend purchasing wax melts as they are coco-soy as well and much more likely to transfer onto your skin! -
Absolutely—we use fragrance oils to create our candles that are phthalate + paraben free, vegan, & cruelty free that are created especially for use in candles. Our wax is a blend of coconut soy with a very small amount of food-grade paraffin.
-
Your candle’s wooden wick should be trimmed before or after each burn to ensure that the flame does not burn too hot & high after the first lighting. You can cut the excess off with a wick trimmer or with scissors- or simply break it off with your fingers! The part that needs to be trimmed should break away easily.
-
Our large 12 oz. candles can last anywhere from 2.5-4 months depending on how you use them! (Potentially even longer!) Trimming the wick as you use your candle will help it to burn more slowly.
-
Don’t worry! Leftover wax on the sides of the candle should melt down as you go.
Make sure your first burn is 3-4 hours so that your wax pool gets all the way—or nearly all the way—to the edges of your candle. This is called a “memory burn” and will help to guard against more serious tunneling. -
On my end I find coco-soy easier to work with! Coco-soy has a powerful fragrance throw, both cold and hot, and allows for even, slow burns that re-forms into a beautiful even top after each burn. (Versus 100% soy, which I find tends to pebble.)
