Sunsets & Sundresses

SCENT NOTES: apple cider + fresh cherries + vintage champagne + sunset air + wild currant + dewy woods
—
Picture the perfect late-Spring/early-Summer picnic at sunset. You sit with someone you love (acknowledged or not) on a beautiful wild hillside, surrounded by leafy foliage. A forest spreads in the distance and a light breeze brings a light dewy wood scent in your direction. The very air itself seems magical, though you’re both starting to get a little tipsy, sipping cool apple cider mixed with vintage champagne. Your companion pops a fresh cherry in their mouth and you muse on the various powers of a solid sundress…both for good (eye candy?) and ill (death by sundress?).
To my nose this fragrance blend is apple and cherry forward first. It’s a really nice blend of both too- with neither note overtaking the other. The vintage champagne notes are subtle, but they’re there if you give them a chance to reveal themselves. There’s a beautiful complexity and depth to this one beyond simply the fruit you may initially smell!

Hand poured with natural, vegan coconut soy wax and decorated with pomegranate flowers, rose petals, and home grown chrysanthemum petals.
These 7oz candles are made in season-exclusive mint glass Antiquarian vessels.
